Right in the heart of Pointe-Claire Village. find the freshest home made food. a warm welcome. and a small. but comfortable space to share. Try the special breads; a variety of coffees. desserts. and the yummy home made soups. all made on the premises. Find good company in the smiles of the other happy customers.

The cafe it's self is very cute yet very small. Very limited in space.
The food is all made at the premisis and rather tasty. Yet the service is not as good as the food. Average service. Often times the food such as the cookies and/or muffins have flies or bees.. No one heard of a lid in that place, to cover the food?!
The coffee is good, the hot chocolate is horrible..Where is the chocolate???
Overall the place needs to be better equipped for sanitation, such as to keep the flies and bees away. It's a place to try once and never again.

I agree with the other review... Food is fantastic, but the service is quite bad. Also I would never eat there. Like the other person said, there are flies.. which is really gross and turned me off when I ate there once. There is also no comfortable space. I still go back when I'm really stuck for a sandwich, and take to go. A couple of times I've received stale bread (in the sandwich). Asking them to use the panini machine (to heat up the sandwich) also feels like a big deal. Once I waited forever while they did, and when I got my sandwich, it wasnt even hot... as though the panini machine wasn't on!
As you can see.. there is much to improve...
If the food wasn't good, they'd be out of business!

Well, hopefully things will improve - since I'm going to start working there part time. I'm abit of a neat freak in the kitchen area - and I do housecleaning for a part time job - so hopefully I can assist the owner to make things better for you all to enjoy your nosh up there (the food is amazing there!!!!)

I went to cafe marmalade a couple of months ago. The avocado sandwich was good, except there was somethign crunchy in the lettuce/leaf they used (sand??). Also, the woman who served me was a bit rude.

I find the food to be amazing...the scone the best ive evrer had!!!!!!! I find in the last 2 or so years the clenliness has drestically changed and the service has gotten better!!! Also i find the back patio/garden is the best place to sit in the sun and have lunch in the village!

The sandwiches are great, I also love the peanut butter cookies. As for being clean, doesnt look it. The other day, a cat was lying on the floor and a dog from the back walks in. The place is the size of a bathroom.
