We just ate at the Helene De Champlain Restaurant last weekend (Sept 13, 2008) and it was mediocre at best - we chose the table d'hote menu and the food was tasteless and pricey. As well, the service was "rushed" and the servers lacked any professionalism - leaning over everyone to fill wine/water, as opposed to going around the table to do this. Also, clearing our table, the servers were rushing so much that things were being knocked over in the process. We complained about the food to the server, who ignored us and walked away. For the price of our dinner, we highly recommend that you stay away from this place. You are paying for the setting only - the quality of food and service were poor overall.
