I guess arranged marriages have a history in the English culture as well as the Asian one. And there's nothing wrong with looking for love through this medium.
I disagree -- I don't think online dating is like an arranged marriage. For one, you don't HAVE to date, marry, or even talk to someone the site/system matches you up with! For another, you typically get offered more than one choice/match in online dating.
