it's so sad when my students come and tell me how their parents fight. they can't express themselves fully, but the sadness comes through. wish parents were more careful.

Children suffer a lot when parents fight, it's traumatic for them to watch such things.

It is definitely a sad thing - but maybe in the long run better for the kids to have their parents separated or divorced than to be trying to stay together and making eveyrone miserable. I hate to see kids hurting, but maybe the parents will fight less once they actually break up.
