Most people I have known have meet there mate either through friends or work. I have found that since I am older is it hard to meet a nice woman. Either controlling, too much baggage or plainly self-centered to their needs only. I read all the time about how many are divorced/single, looking for a romance or a friend to date or do things with and I just am having a hard time finding a friendly woman. Not into the bar scene. I go to college in a small town. But most at college are my oldest daughter age. The internet is a waste of time, since I am not going to travel 100 or so miles to meet someone and if I like, then have to do all that driving. Besides the grocery store and just shopping....any real ideas...besides putting up a billboard. Thanks Jeff.

Jeff, if meeting someone from on-line is so offensive, then try your church. I have actually meet a few from on-line that go to the same church just a different service time. Meeting someone just for friendship or to expand your circle of friends is great.
