i'm not so sure marriages were meant for keeps. that's why religion forces you not to separate. that rule is like a chain. if you're unhappy, don't matter. stay on. god loves the suffering. like that.
you've taken the words right outta my mouth, lady. Marriage is an artificial, man-made institution. And it most benefits the religion under which it takes place. Think of it - have you EVER stopped yearning for variety? Marriage is an arrangement of convenience, like a business partnership. It works, but it's also extremely limiting
Takes more than effort. Takes a miracle. The society and rules of living we've slapped together are not conducive to marriage. Too many loopholes, too much scope for backing out.
Hey you guys are scaring me. Is it really that bad? I've seen my parents and grandparents stick together for almost their entire lifetime. In case I get married, I would surely look for this kind of bonding.
It isn't that bad at all. All you need is patience, a bit of maturity and lots and lots of love for your spouse. That's it. One thing is that you care for the other person but the most important thing is that if you love and respect yourself you will treat yourself and your life good.
