it realy all depends on the animal some are agrasive. i worked for free at a dog pound and cat in the city.wear they had a pit bull problem they trained the dogs to fight and even the pups had bad temperment.we couldnt even go into the cages to feed and clean with out neck strap pole well we could feed but not clean the cage.when the dogs lost a fight they wear put on the streets to fend for them seleves.and i have fell in love with some of these dogs for they didnt ask for this only wanted love.and some of the best of dogs and cats i have seen them inceraided and gone for ever.put down cause pepole dont know.and i have seen the best in people come in get a pit bull and everything is great much companship with dog and owner. but one has to be caeful. come spend time with dog or cat at pound before taking home hope this helps bye jeff
