Hi, I'm 23 year old from Los Angeles and never in my life have I been in a relationship. Dating freaks me out although I am very social. I just don't like people getting too close because I don't trust people. People get married and stay married for 20 years and then get divorced! I want to believe people mean well but I just doubt man's honesty (especially men, which is why I'm not interested in finding a man at this point). I want a girlfriend but I don't want to date until I find that person. I don't enjoy dating because I lose interest very quickly, and the longer I wait, the more I find the person unworthy of my time which I'm sure is quite far from the truth. When it comes to falling in love, I am at first hesitant, cautious and businesslike, quantifying my potential partner's qualities. I can be a great friend and become friend's with just about anyone very quickly. What can I do about this?
