I believe that there is one no such thing as love at first sight. For one, what do you know about that person at first sight, it's more like lust than anything, love takes time it don't happen in a glance.

Hi first of all, its so nice being here. I've been reading some very interesting discussions. Though I haven't experienced it myself, I believe it can happen to 2 people who are really "connected". That flash, that spark.... you instantly like the person maybe like wine it takes time to mature into a beautiful relationship.

Dang right there is LOVE at first sight. It happend to me and hard ten years of LOVe by me at least. Have time read on.... My Ex asked me to dance at a night club. I noted his great looks though told him I would dance later and watched where he went. I was hit on the are by my g/f who told me I was nuts not to dance with him right off. I finished my beer, went up to him looked him in the eye and asked if he "Want that dance now?" We danced the night away, went to his place and were together for ten years after that. OK .... It ended though I believe it was LOVE at first sight.

Love at first sight and lust at first sight is confusing, I know I'm confused. The hopeless romantic in me bieves in it though. It is good to follow our heart, our first instinct but we must not allow it to cloud our judment either. It's all about balance.

I don't know how you can have love at first sight when you don't know the person. You can think they are good-looking, but love comes with knowing the person.

I believe love at first site is possible, but I prefer to be more cautious. There are too many strange characters out there that are like wolves in sheeps clothing for me trust love at first site.

I am the ultimate true romantic, there is such thing as love at first sight and I have had the honor of being in love twice in this life. It feels like floating on a cloud, you never want the ride to end. The minute you see the person and you, and your heart, stop breathing for just one moment. I personally dont believe I couldn't fall in love with someone at first sight . What if they we're a drug addict or a basket case? Love comes with time . Never Judge a book's cover ...

As a person who is fairly good at determining a person's character and as a hopeless romantic, yes I believe in love at first site.
However, the term is used way to often by horny men and it is also hard to tell the difference between lust and love, at least before having an honest to God relationship.
