| Romance For A Dog (1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982) |
|
Those born under this sign are always looking for someone to fight for. Activists supporting lost causes must fall under this sign. They live as they feel is right. They want everyone to live by their rules. Go to church, tell the truth (well, tell a lie if it supports a cause or benefits someone, but leave it at that), follow all rules to the T (then find out who is not doing the same and sue the troublemaker).
The Dog believes most people aren't doing it right, and wants to set that straight. Watch him at a party and you will see him in action. No small, polite conversation from him; it is more likely he will burst into a speech on the rights of tribes in central India or the condition of starving Somalis and what-are-you-doing-about-it? No point convincing him that it is only a party to have fun, and not a seminar on the troubles of the world; for when he knows what is right, you're wrong. Leave him alone. Once he has spent his emotions trying to be the voice of the downtrodden, he will go away to be by himself, to catch up with his thoughts and feelings. Do not worry; he'll come back. Wait until he gets to know you better. Over time, you will value what lies behind that grouchiness-stability, concern, neatness, and dependability. If you are a Tiger or a Horse, you will actually value the Dog as a companion, friend, lover, and spouse.
