| Romance For a Goat (1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991) |
|
This is the eighth sign of the Chinese Zodiac. Think of poets, master artisans, philosophers, mathematical theorists, composers, or just those who sit and do pretty little but watch the world go by: they are all Goats. Other signs have difficulty in figuring out just what the Goats think. Their desks are a mess and frequently their clothes are mismatched. It doesn't worry them; they are into the cerebral stuff. They are the quintessential absent-minded professors. They are thinkers and dreamers; that is what they are. You may think they are lazy, but it is their minds, rather than their bodies that they are working with.
If you are a logical sort of person, you may have to make an effort to understand their ways and habits. Be patient. They are always on the edge, always tense, worrying, and anxious. Their companions, friends, and families have to be careful not to disturb them, for when they are hurt, they withdraw into themselves. A trivial matter may escalate into a major misunderstanding. They will not quarrel; they will just keep quiet or simply go away. This sign is born with a temperament. They have to be reassured often that all's well. They reciprocate beautifully and in full measure when they are comfortable and convinced. They love to look good, though, and will spend well to have a good time. If you are a Pig or a Rabbit, you could get into a long and fruitful relationship with the Goat. Just take care to keep the Goat's confidence level high.
