| Romance For A Monkey (1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980) |
|
The name describes the sign. Monkeys are full of activity, energy, and charm. They crave fun. Give them a chance and they throw a party -- or attend one. Good drinks, good food, music, jokes, what more can anyone want? Why, more good times! They flit from group to group, spreading laughter and cheer as they go by. They lead; others watch their antics and then follow gladly. They love entertainment in any form. Life is a game. They are intelligent and witty. They are observant and clever and they love to advertise their talents and skill.
They are irresistible to watch and be with. Naturally, they are admired and adored. When required, they will listen carefully and apply their knowledge to a situation, usually successfully. Pleasure is one focus of their lives. Experimentation is the other. Of course, they have a couldn't-give-a-damn attitude that often lands them in trouble. However, being in trouble doesn't bother them either and they get out of it only to land in another spot. Who cares? The very serious signs will not get along with this one and will see through every escapade; it won't matter a bit to the Monkey, it is his life and he is out to enjoy each second of it. There are times when he could be a bit low, disappointed, or remorseful. However, you can be sure it is a temporary phase, nothing serious. To get along with the Monkey's level of energy and activity, you have to be either a Rat or a Dragon.
