Stable, resolute, determined: do all these adjectives remind you of something like, say, the Rock of Gibraltar? I am talking about Taureans. You won't find them talkative, but they are the most practical and cool heads you can find around. Nothing disturbs their tranquillity.

Have you ever heard of the adjectives "obstinate" or "stubborn?" These words were coined for the Taurean. Even their appearance will have a bovine quality, although intangible. They take things in their stride and if it is security you are looking for, then Taurus is your answer. They are Home Folks. Their element is the Earth and it shows in every step. That may remind you of another Taurean adjective-patient! The Taurean has a good stomach for tasty food and a good head for money.

So, do they sound like candidates for adoptive parents? Do not be mistaken, when it comes to romance, once they are convinced that you are the right person, the surprises begin. They will pursue you with a determination that is hard to resist. Consider yourself lucky; they are tender, gentle, and protective lovers. However, mundane, everyday things don't stimulate them; you have to be special and you will remain so to them.
