A great place to take your date is the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The fresh fragrance of the flowers will add a new zing to your romance. Stroll through the garden, as live jazz music plays in the background. There are nibbles available, or pack a dinner picnic basket and try out the carpet of freshly cut grass as you gaze at the stars. Another fine place to picnic is "Atlanta's green heart," Piedmont Park. Scour the newspaper to find out if there are any special events happening there - like the Atlanta Jazz Festival, the Screen on Green, or others, to get more out of your romantic rendezvous. Walk hand-in-hand, taking in the wonders of the sea world at the Georgia Aquarium, the world's largest aquarium, where you can make friends with Nico and Gaspar, the male beluga whales.

For a magical movie moment, try a little kiss on a gondola at Stone Mountain Park, or Lake Lanier. Create memories at Callaway Gardens, where nature can play a part of them. Here, you can go on a nature trails, bike trails, and see specialty gardens as well as a little beach alcove.
Atlanta gives fine dining a new meaning. It has a selection of restaurants, which utilize the beauty of nature to the fullest, be it the banks of a river or the lush greenery of the gardens. There are novelty restaurants that are full of local flavor, as well - even one that fully revolves.
After dinner, get out and take in the sizzle of the nightlife. Boogie to the latest music, or get visit a wine club, catch the latest act at a comedy club, or get close and do a little dancing. If you feel adventurous, go to one of the many karaoke bars.
