"The best steak in town!" say patrons of this popular Calgary restaurant. voted the best restaurant for fine dining. The classy interior is done up with dark wood paneling. the service is wonderful. and the food. delectable. The Alberta beef is the chef's specialty. The menu also includes several other entrees including ribs. chicken. soups. and salads. The selection of wines. both red and white. is incredible. Valet parking is available. Try to make advance reservations so that you and your partner can avoid a long wait outside.

I must say that I’ve never written comments on-line about any restaurant in my entire life. BUT last night in Ceaser’s Steakhouse (Downtown) is just TOO much for me to handle and keep it quiet…Please do yourself (and your date) a service and avoid this place at any cost! Food was very mediocre and really atrocious for the type of restaurants they are trying to position themselves…Appetizers were ‘plain Jane’ and SO salty, we left them untouched. But not wanting to spoil the night we kept it quiet…hoping for better quality food coming…Nope, it didn’t happen. We expected much more for $45 dishes. There was NOT MUCH OF THE FLAVOUR neither in appetizer dishes nor main coarse. The only good thing about the dinning there was wine. Well, you don’t need to be in restaurant business to score here…Also, couple of comments about Ceaser’s design- looks pretentious but a little bit tacky. We find it hard to call romantic.

Service was BAD. They totally screwed up ‘at the table’ presentation/ cook. Despite the fact that my date was away from the table for 5 mins, our waitress started cooking at the table with comment “..well, too bad he’s gonna miss the show…” (!!!!)
Friday night was ruined. My boyfriend made a fantastic effort trying to save the night. I appreciate it a lot! But if you are playing with idea to go to Ceaser’s restaurant to celebrate something or just for a meal out, do yourself a service and try to AVOID this place at any cost!
WARNING: Ladies and Gentlemen, you don’t need to be a food critic to see that Ceaser’s steakhouse is a RIP OFF. It seems that they try to do anything in their power in order to spoil your dining experience. Honestly, you will WASTE your TIME going to Ceaser’s. You may find much better places to eat in Calgary. Discover and good luck.
