Take your date to the Southfork Ranch, in Parker Texas, made famous by the TV series Dallas. Tour the house, grab a bite to eat at Miss Ellie's Deli and then stroll around the property where those characters "lived." The museum is not worth the entry fee, unless you want to buy souvenirs.
