One of the earliest attempts of Charles Mackintosh. the famed architect. this site is now accessible only by appointment. The red sandstone masonry with its fine iron balconies overlook a central atrium. The three ventilators. the colored tiling and. roof trusses of wood all point towards an excellence and early promise. fulfilled in later years. The ambience of the building has a soothing effect.
