I wanted to have my birthday in a comfortable, hip type of setting. I went to cafe repulique as I found it quite charming. The owner was very kind and promised they would give me wonderful service for my birthday. I was at ease and told myself I would finally be able to have fun and not worry.
I spent my ENTIRE night running after the waitress, the busboy so that my guest could get drinks or food. Event started at 9, my guests got glasses of water at 11, at 10:30 the birthday girl finally was asked if she would like to eat or drink!!! only started having fun around 11, and they close at 12. I do not suggest this place if you're organizing a large event, or planning an evening with friends, horrible service. I also felt VERY unwelcomed. =o(

I went to cafe Republique for a business party. The Dj they provided us was very good. I loved the unique ambiance of the restaurant. I had a wonderful time with my friends. I have to say, we definately enjoyed the delicious food aswell as the good wine .
