A goup of friends and I went to Oliver Twist last night and had some drinks.We ordered a bottle of champagne that was listed at $40 in the wine list.When our check came they had charged us $80.When we pointed this out to the bartender, he said he had to get his manager.His manager, who we later found out is the OWNER,STEVEN,proceeded to tell us the menu was a misprint and that we would have to pay the $80.We told him we weren't going to pay that, and said if he had an issue with it, he could call the cops.HE DID!!I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life,and I eat out alot. The cop told him exactly what we had told him,which is that you cannot charge more than a price that is listed in your menu.When he changed the bill, and we gave more than one credit card to pay it (since there were 4 of us and we were splitting it equally)he called us petty, and small, and mocked us for having to use more than one card to pay. He also took out a trespassing order against my friend...as if we would go back!
