The Tides is located just a block away from the mansion where the late great fashion designer Gianni Versace used to live. It is known as the best address on Ocean Drive – and was recently named as one of the best "Small Hotels of the World." The hotel is housed in an art deco building and has been decorated with flair and style. There are forty-five guest rooms and penthouse suites, all of which redefine the word luxury. Almost all have magnificent views of the ocean. The restaurant at the hotel is 1220 at the Tides, and is acclaimed for its cuisine and service.
