    The Caliente Tropics Resort was re-opened after an extensive $2.2 million renovation in 2001. It boasts the distinction of being one of the Polynesian-styled motor hotels that were popular in the 1960s. The Caliente has reinvented itself as a small boutique hotel. The facilities include a 65 foot long swimming pool.
