A friend of mine has been working in New Orleans for a long time now. And yesterday I read some of the stuff she'd written about the destruction and the suffering that she had seen there. It sent shivers down my spine. I don't know if anyone here even cares or is still concerned by what happened to people there. But I feel it's important to be aware.
